So /wp-admin isn’t working. Maybe it’s throwing an error, maybe the page just won’t load, or maybe it’s bouncing you somewhere else entirely. Whatever it’s doing, you can’t get in, and that’s frustrating.
Here’s the thing, though — nine times out of ten, this comes down to something pretty minor. Work through these, and you’ll most likely be back in within a few minutes.
Try the Obvious Things First
Cache and cookies cause more problems than people realize. Clear them out and give it another shot. If that doesn’t change anything, try a completely different browser or just pull up an incognito window and go from there.

If you’re running a caching plugin, clear it completely. Then check whether your hosting has its own caching layer — a lot of them do — and clear that as well.

Switch to a different wifi network and try again. If that suddenly works, something was blocking your IP, and you’ll need to whitelist it or adjust your security settings.

Gone through everything and still stuck? Stop overthinking it and just contact hosting support. Tell them you can’t access wp-admin and let them dig into it from their side.
